Exercise Physiology for NDIS

Exercise physiology services can be funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) when they support a participant’s goals and day-to-day function.

At Stronger Path Allied Health, we work with children, adolescents, and adults to build physical capacity in a safe, structured, and practical way.

Who We Support

We support NDIS participants of all ages who may be experiencing:
  • Reduced strength, mobility, or coordination
  • Disability-related fatigue or deconditioning
  • Chronic pain or movement limitations
  • Neurological or developmental conditions
  • Difficulty participating in daily, school, or community activities
Programs are tailored to the participant’s age, ability level, and individual goals.

How Exercise Physiology Can Help

Exercise physiology may support:
  • Strength, balance, and coordination development
  • Motor skill development for children
  • Functional movement for daily activities
  • Pain and fatigue management
  • Building confidence and independence with movement
For children, sessions may focus on play-based movement, coordination, and building foundational skills.
For adults, sessions focus on functional strength, independence, and long-term health.

How We Work

At Stronger Path Allied Health:
  • Programs are individualised and goal-driven
  • Sessions are adapted as needs change over time
  • Care is delivered in a calm, supportive environment
  • Sessions may be delivered in-gym, at home, in hydrotherapy, or via telehealth
We work closely with families, carers, and support coordinators where appropriate.

Referrals and Getting Started

A GP referral is not required for NDIS-funded exercise physiology.
To get started, we usually need:

  • Confirmation that exercise physiology aligns with your goals
